Rich Delicious Orange MUFFINs.

Bahan :

1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine melted
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
2 eggs
grated rind of 1 orange

1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt, and blend well.
2. Melt butter. Take off heat and stir in orange juice, eggs and orange rind. Beat.
3. Stir liquid into dry mixture and blend just until moistened.
4. Spoon into greased muffin cups and soak 1 sugar cube in orange juice and place on top of batter.
5. Bake 375 F for 15-20 minutes or until done


1. Pastiin aja adonannya 'kental', makanya jgn ngaduk kelamaan alias overmix pada saat nyampur adonan kering dan basah. Pastiin aja wkt nyampur sesama bahan2 kering atau sesama bahan2 basah, bahan2 tsb udah tercampur rata.
2. Isi muffin cup-nya lebih penuh dari normalnya (nyaris memenuhi si muffin cup) yg ujung2nya jumlah muffin yg dihasilkan lebih dikit drpd normalnya. Kalo ada cups yg gak kepake, isi dgn air sesaat sebelum dimasukin oven, biar cups kosong tsb gak berasep selama dlm oven.
3. Panasin oven (preheat) lebih panas drpd yg diminta di resep, misalnya di resep ditulis 180 C, panasin ovennya 220 C dulu kemudia sesaat stelah calon muffin masuk ke dlm oven turunin suhunya sesuai dgn suhu yg diminta di resep. Suhu oven yg cukup tinggi tadi akan membantu adonan cepat mengembang dan terbentuklah domed muffin yg diidam2kan :)
